The first reality that needs to be addressed is the complexity of the tungsten matrix and sintering in the diamond segments with very particular characteristics of high surface tension, as well as the coefficients of thermal expansion between the inserts and the supporting steel, forcing post-delayed solidification phenomena with the inherent consequences.
